Here are some favorites from Karlie's senior session. We've know Karlie for many years and it has been a joy and a privilege to watch her grow into a beautiful young woman. 

A great end to a long day...

We had a very busy Sunday, meeting with a couple to discuss wedding photography and taking soccer portraits for over 100 kids. Needless to say we were pretty tired by late afternoon and we still had a senior portrait session left to go! I wasn't sure we were going to make it... then Bella walked in and made us remember why we love to do this. Her beautiful smile and infectious laughter (and natural blush!) made us perk up immediately! We could have spent all day taking her pictures. Thanks, Bella, for ending our day on a high note!!

We're back with some Seniors!

Well, we know it's been a while (okay a REALLY long time!), but we're back with a few images from some of our most recent high school senior sessions. We had a very busy summer, full of weddings, senior sessions and other events (and our kids!). But, now that our daughters have gone back to school, we've found a few spare moments to post some fun photos. Hope you enjoy them!

Deirdre and Jim's Wedding

Deirdre and Jim had a wonderful wedding last Saturday at Eisenhower Chapel on the Penn State campus. The reception was held at the Elks Club of State College. We had a great time photographing everyone and getting to meet their families and friends.

Engagement session fun

We always have a great time taking engagement photos. We spend a little time getting to know each couple and get more comfortable with each other before the wedding day. A couple of our recent engagement sessions yielded some very spontaneous moments from our couples, which of course, we were thrilled to be able to capture!

Our Two New Family Members!

Just when our 2 daughters (Maria - 11 and Sophie - almost 7) are becoming self-sufficient, we decided we needed a little excitement. So, 3 weeks ago we welcomed Ginger and Rocket (Rocky) into our home!! The 2 boxer puppies are doing great! They are very affectionate and love to sleep anywhere they can...in your lap, in your bed, anywhere you'll let them!


Ginger and Rocky are settling right in to McQuaide family life, although we'll have to start limiting naps so they will sleep past 5:30 am! Our almost 13 year old Springer Spaniel, Sunny, is adjusting too ( we think!). Well, at least she doesn't leave the room when they're around anymore...
